Dear Friends,
Today is one of my favorite days. Today, my friend Renee, who works with St. Joseph Family in Jacmel, Haiti, sent me the names of the six students who went to high school today because of you. This summer, Renee reached out to me. The primary school SJF operates, Lekol Sen Trinite, serves the poorest of the poor in Jacmel, on the southern coast of Haiti. They anticipated graduating 15 students who would be eligible for secondary school. None of the families, though, have the resources to pay the $1000 per year tuition needed to attend high school in Jacmel. Another student, who had received a scholarship two years ago, had moved. Her scholarship was tied to her school, so she was going to have to drop out of school. We reached out to you, and we raised $6,000–enough for all six students, Anson, Edeline, Emmanuella, Franceska, Mardoche, and Ismerelda to go to school this year! Thank you for shining a light in their lives!
Thank you for all you are doing!
